Overview

In this newly created role, the  Director, Human Resources will be an integral member of the EMEA regional leadership team.  He/she will be responsible for driving and executing the Human Resources programs and strategies  throughout  the EMEA region, supporting the region’s and organization’s goals & objectives. This role is an individual contributor and will report to the VP, Global Human Resources located in New Jersey, with a matrix reporting relationship to the President of EMEA, located in Denmark.

Responsibilities

  • Establish position as a trusted advisor within the regional leadership team.  Build strong relationships with business partners and employees to support business goals through HR strategies.
  • Deliver all HR related programs to EMEA managers and employees,  including compensation management, employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, training & development, vendor management and HR governance & compliance.
  • Ensure all employment practices, including compensation and benefits, are in strict compliance with all local and statutory requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to support employee engagement across the region; foster an environment that supports the company’s culture of  accountability, innovation, transparency and inclusiveness.
  • Drive Talent Acquisition strategies in the region; develop  procedures and manage activities performed by recruiters and outside agencies; direct the full lifecycle of recruitment for EMEA region.
  • Manage the budget and cost control of Human Resources expenses for the EMEA region; oversee negotiations and relationships with vendors providing employee benefits, outsourced services, insurance, legal advices, and systems.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or Business Administration from an accredited college/university or the equivalent work experience is required.
  • At least 5- 10 years relevant experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, ideally in a multi country environment.
  • Experience in all disciplines of Human Resources including talent management, training & development, employee relations, employee engagement & retention and talent acquisition; a baseline background in compensation and benefit principles (i.e. incentive comp, salary survey).
  • Skilled in organizational integration, change management and organizational transformation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
