INTTRA professionals work with 50 leading carriers and NVOCCs, 110 software alliance partners, as well as their customers, to streamline and standardize their shipping processes worldwide through a network of more than 225,000 shipping professionals. Over 700,000 container orders are initiated on the INTTRA platform each week, representing 27 percent of global ocean container trade.

    This person will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day Infrastructure support as part of the Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for delivery and support of on-premises infrastructure required to sustain high corporate productivity to meet business operational demand.

    Responsibilities

    • Implementation and support of corporate technology solutions inclusive of: end-user provisioning (computer, mobile phone, telephony, productivity tools, and network access), corporate productivity (telecom, tele/video-conferencing, file-sharing/collaboration tools), mobile device management, print/copy/scan.
    • Management of hardware and software inventory and related maintenance contracts.
    • Participate in IT infrastructure support and management; UPS, Cooling, LAN, WAN, WiFi Networking, and ISP connections.

    Qualifications

    Education & Professional Qualifications:

    • B.S.­­ Computer Science/Engineer or equivalent computer-related education or experience

    Prior Experience:

    • Advanced knowledge and equal proficiency of PC and Mac lap/desktops.
    • Experience with cloud email and productivity solutions; G Suite Apps.
    • Experience supporting office software applications in a Windows environment (e.g. MSOffice on PC and Mac platforms.)
    • Implementation and maintenance of video/tele-conferencing solutions.
    • General knowledge of Windows Servers, IP Telephony, and Networking, and WiFi.
    • Knowledge of end-user computer security products; Vipre, Symantec Encryption, Other
    • Experience supporting Mobile Devices (IOS, Android).
    • Familiarity with service management and service level objectives (Manage Engine).

    Skills & Qualities:

    • Must be highly motivated and demonstrate high level of initiative.
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills in an end-user facing environment.
    • Ability to organize and manage workload for self and prioritize effectively.
    • Ability to anticipate business needs, work with stakeholders to validate future requirements and implement projects.
    • Knowledgeable in computer management and security for PC and Mac.
    • General Knowledge in DHCP, SMTP, TCP/IP and DNS.
    • Familiarity with Windows Server, account management, active directory and security.
    • Familiarity with Ericom is a plus
    • Familiarity with IP telephony and devices.

    Special Work Hours Requirement:

    • Ability to adjust shift start time, as needed, to interact with prior and subsequent shift.
    • Occasional weekend support for maintenance activity, as necessary.
